What We Do
Christian Restoration Manchester is a church that began as the dream of Isaac Sany, After University who wanted to create a place that would help people find their way back to God.
Services were first held in East Manchester in Openshaw in 2009. And 3 years later we changed location to North Manchester in Higher Blackley on Victoria Avenue. Christian Restoration Manchester was established on a strong foundation of deep, desperate prayer and seeking God. Our call is to spread the message of Christ to the nations.
Our mission is helping people find their way back to God. We accomplish this by reaching people far from God, restoring God’s dream for the world, and reproducing this mission in others.
Our Vision scripture is Isaiah 58:12 “Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; and you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, restorer of Streets with Dwellings”.
Christian Restoration Manchester is Christian Charity passionate about Helping People Find Their Way Back to God through sharing the love of Jesus Christ in words and actions with people of all walks of life in the United Kingdom and in Uganda.
You’ll find us doing this through teaching Alpha, Provision of Food parcels to less advantaged families in North Manchester, Community Football, Support for Women’s Wellbeing , Support for Men’s Mental Health, Community drop in, Musical Instrument lessons, County Lines Awareness, No more Knives Campaign, Women Keep Fit, Supporting Widows and Orphans in Africa through community transformation projects like farming, Retail shops and as well as Christ-centred enterprise. Whilst also equipping people to share the Love of Christ to All.
For 15 years Christian Restoration Manchester has been sharing the love of Jesus with People of all walks of life in word and deed. From Isaac Sany receiving a vision from God in 2006 to share the gospel with people across Greater Manchester, our work is growing, and our heart has remained the same – to see people’s lives and communities transformed through the gospel.
Today we work in Higher Blackley, North Manchester and in Uganda reaching and engaging and serving schools, communities and providing support to single mums, widows and sending young people to school in Uganda. We want them to discover the love and hope Jesus offers them for themselves, and for them to become lifelong disciples of Christ.
From the day we he gave the vision in 2006 to today, Isaiah 58:12, Those from among you Shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.
Our Projects
We REACH, ENGAGE & SERVE (RES)
The acronym of ‘RES’ is: ‘Reach’, ‘Engage’, and ‘Serve’. These action words reflect the strategy that is foundational to all our community work. We ‘reach’ out to our local community by offering services that they need and want to see. We ‘engage’ people by creating a space that is welcoming and that offers something that can make a tangible difference to their lives. Finally, we ‘serve’ the needs of the whole person through relationship, by equipping and empowering them to overcome the challenges or difficulties they are facing. We believe that serving in this way reflects the position that Jesus modelled in the Bible as our Servant King.
